I know Alan Wake been out for some time now, but since it was one of the more intriguing summer titles I thought I'd post this link to a fairly decent review of the game.  It's a quick read, and while it doesn't have any real screenshots or video, the article does a good job of summing up the good and the bad.

Overall, the game seems to be a decent thriller with good attention to detail, but I don't think it's going to be the next Resident Evil.
